Shaping the messages that help people make the healthy choices

Effective, targeted communication is a vital part of any campaign to promote people’s health – whether that involves helping them to give up smoking, eat healthily, drink sensibly or become more physically active.

We have worked with a very wide range of organisations – at national, regional and local levels – to develop strategies for ‘getting the key health messages across’ to target groups that range from teenagers and young families to older people with long-term conditions.

Specifically, we have helped to shape and implement public information programmes related to smoking cessation, dental health, drugs and alcohol education, antenatal care, diet and nutrition, exercise, stress management, vaccination, antenatal care, breastfeeding, diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Our input has ranged from planning and overseeing a multi-faceted campaign over months (or, in some cases, years) to writing and designing advertisements, booklets, leaflets, posters and other materials. A small selection of our work is illustrated below.
